How would you describe yourself as a cyclist? Are you interested, yet cautious? Don’t worry, Smart Trips Austin and Bike Austin want to help you overcome any barriers that many experience when you begin to (or desire to) ride your bicycle as transportation. We will be hosting a free City Cycling Class on June 10th at Central Market. City Cycling is the Driver’s Ed for cyclists. A “league-certified” instructor will cover everything from bike selection, simple maintenance, fixing a flat, and strategies for riding a bike safely and confidently. We hope this class can help you feel confident enough to eventually bike to the store, to work, around your neighborhood, or even around the state!
- When: Friday, June 10th
- Where: Central Market, 4001 N Lamar Blvd
- Time: 7:00 pm
This class is FREE and open to the public!
Thank you to our event host, Bike Austin!
