City Cycling & Guided Ride | July 19|2016

How would you describe yourself as a cyclist? Are you interested, yet cautious?  Don’t worry, Smart Trips Austin and Bike Austin want to help you overcome any barriers that many experience when you begin to (or desire to) ride your bicycle as transportation. City Cycling is the Driver’s Ed for cyclists with a classroom portion followed by a several mile long guided bike ride. A “league-certified” instructor will cover everything from bike selection, simple maintenance, fixing a flat, and strategies for riding a bike safely and confidently. We hope this class can help you feel confident enough to eventually bike to the store, to work, around your neighborhood, or even around the state! Join us for the just the classroom or just the ride or even both!

  • When: Tuesday, July 19
  • Where: Seton Medical Center, 1201 W 38th St, SMCA South Conference Room
  • Classroom Time: 7:00 pm
