Neighborhood Walks to SFC Farmers’ Market – May 4, 11, 18 |2016

Join us on a guided walk to your local Sustainable Food Center’s Farmers’ Market at the Triangle. Sustainable food deserves a sustainable trip to your home! Each week, we will gather starting at 5:00pm and depart at 5:30pm sharp for about a twenty minute walk to the Farmers’ Market. Bring your reusable bags and grocery list.

  • Hyde Park, Wednesday, May 4, meet at Shipe Park
  • North Loop, Wednesday, May 11, meet at Epoch Coffee
  • Rosedale: Wednesday, May 18, meet at Ramsey Park

What’s in Season Now
SPRING (MARCH-MAY):
Look for the pop up of fragrant flowers, fresh arugula, asparagus, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, chard, cilantro, collard greens, dill, garlic, kale, leeks, lettuce, mint, mustard greens, onions, parsley, peaches, plums, potatoes, radishes, spinach, squash, strawberries, turnips and tomatoes.

Let us know you’re coming and RSVP below! The first ten participants at our starting locations will receive a $5 voucher for any booth at the market.
